SFI Group of Companies strengthens Partnership with DOLE-BLE with the launch of PhilJobNet 2021

TalentSource launches PhilJobNet 2021 to celebrate our 5th year in supporting SFI Group’s employment and workforce development advocacy programs. PhilJobNet 2021 is an improved version of PhilJobNet (2016), which was launched March 10 2016 through the partnership with Department of Labor and Employment and The Bureau of Local Employment. Since 2016, SFI Group of Companies through its subsidiary TalentSource Inc., has provided our government with full pledged support for PhilJobNet’s development and maintenance, operations and customer service.

This is our ongoing Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with the government to help Jobseekers find jobs within the country, empower people to upskill, provide career guidance, uplift their morale and encourage them to seek employment in their respective fields of interests. By giving the government their own job portal, it allows them to use the platform to roll out their employment programs and provide Labor Market Information.

Why we do it

Through the years, the SFI Group of Companies and its subsidiary, TalentSource, have sustained all efforts to provide the necessary support to the flagship job site of DOLE-BLE.

The website has encountered a lot of changes since 1998, when it was first launched. We are fulfilling our promise to deliver better services and assistance to its users by launching improved versions of the platform last 2016, and with the latest release of PhilJobNet 2021.

Continuous improvement is underway. PhilJobNet 2021 will soon introduce groundbreaking free services in Virtual Job Fairs, Online Interviews and Candidate Messaging without requiring employers to spend a single centavo to look for their next candidate. Optional candidate search services will also be available for Employers such as Resume Search, SMS and Email Blast, and Sponsored Job Postings which will only require minimal fees for its usage.

SFI Group’s Promise

Servicio Filipino Inc., the founding company of SFI Group of Companies, recently celebrated its 60th year in delivering HR and Staffing solutions in our country. Out committment to share our success to our fellow countrymen became stronger especially now during the Global Pandemic with the ongoing challenges in Employment.

Our team started with only 3 employees, which has now grown to 14 professionals with combined expertise in Research, Marketing and Information Technology to deliver improvements and continued support for PhilJobNet. With only a few thousand followers in social media back in 2016- PhilJobnet is now near the hundred thousand mark without resorting to paid advertising.

More than 150 podcast episodes were also published under the segment – Buhay at Hanapbuhay. The podcast sessions gave guidance and tips to Jobseekers and Employees- about job hunting, career advice, and other useful information about the world of work.

Our joint collaboration with the Bureau of Local Employment also allows us to meet the demands of supporting the platform. Customer inquiries and concerns are handled through email and chat, while we also keep an open hotline with the help of the BLE team.

Brighter Future for the Filipino Workforce

As we continue to improve PhiljobNet, we also aim to expand its current services to serve more people. By enhancing its job postings capabilities, giving the ability to employers to search potential candidates, and providing an easier job application process for our next generation of Jobseekers.

We are accepting the challenges in evolving technology brought by the 4th Industrial Revolution so we can continue to help our government fulfill its mandate to serve the Filipino workforce.

We know that our efforts to help Filipinos will make a positive impact to millions of lives. Together, with the help of the government and its partners, we aim to provide better employment opportunities by bridging the gap between Employers and Jobseekers in our country.

There are greater challenges ahead due to the global health crisis and the impact that it has done with our economy. Unemployment has reached record breaking numbers, while fresh graduates are getting caught in rising competition to get employed.

SFI Group of Companies is committed to do what is necessary to help people find employment and provide the tools necessary to improve their skills and pursue their career path.
